Things to do in advance:
Book your flights/ferry/Eurostar
Booking accommodation is not essential if you aren’t fussy. There are plenty of hostels which will have rooms available however if you don’t want to miss out on that fancy AirBnb then book in advance
Book Anne Frank Museum tickets as soon as possible. Ideally 3-4 months in advance
Book a table at the Avocado Show (14 days in advance)
Book other museum tickets in advance (not as necessary as Anne Frank)

Day 1
10am-11am - Arrive into Amsterdam Centrum and jump on the tram to your accommodation
11am-12pm - Check in
12pm-1:30pm - Lunch at De Vondeltuin
1:30pm-2:30pm - Explore Vondelpark and (hopefully) enjoy the sunshine
2:30pm-4:30pm - Visit the Van Gogh and/or the Rijk Museum
4:30pm-6:30pm - Explore the De Pjip area and visit the Heineken museum
6:30pm-7:30pm - Relax
7:30pm onwards - Take an evening dinner river cruise
Day 2
9:30am-10:30am - Breakfast at Upstairs Pannenkoeken
10:30am-12:30pm - Free walking tour
12:30pm-2pm - Beers, sausage and cheese at Brouwerij ‘t IJ
2pm-4pm - Visit the Anne Frank Museum
4pm-6pm - Rent bikes and explore the city

1pm-1:30pm - Take the number 4 and number 26 tram to get to Muziekgeb. Bimhuis and walk to Hannekes Boom or walk from Albert Cuypmarkt (45 minutes)
1:30pm-3pm - Grab lunch and a beer from Hannekes Boom
3pm-5pm - Take a short walk to the A’Dam Tower for a panoramic view of Amsterdam
5pm - Make your way to Amsterdam Centrum to head home

Van Gogh Museum A collection of work by Vincent Van Gogh. Tickets are 19 euros pp and free for under 18s. Open 9am-5pm Saturday-Thursday and 9am-9pm Friday. Location: Museumplein 6, 1071 DJ Amsterdam, Netherlands Rijks Museum This museum focuses on dutch art and history and particularly famous for the masterpieces of Rembrandt, Frans Hals, and Johannes Vermeer. Tickets are 19 euros pp and free for under 18s. Open 9am-5pm everyday. Location: Museumstraat 1, 1071 XX Amsterdam, Netherlands Bike rental You can find bike rental throughout the city and prices range from between 8-10 euros per day. The Avocado Show This brunch spot was made for Instagram! This hipster restaurant serves all things avocado and it is extremely popular. Booking in advance is a must and I would suggest 2-3 weeks in advance, if not more. The queue will be out of the door even for people who have made reservations. Enjoy everything imaginable that can be accompanied by avocado including the classics; toast and eggs or enjoy dishes which make the avocado the star of the show. Try two halves of an avocado fashioning as a burger bun or avocado poké which is a ring of sliced avocado filled with delicious asian ingredients. Location: Daniël Stalpertstraat 61 HS, 1072 XB Amsterdam La Luna Steakhouse Grill This highly rated restaurant is down to earth and serves Argentinian steak. For a very reasonable price you can enjoy a delicious steak cooked to your liking with an array of wines to accompany your main course. This is a busy and bustling restaurant so book your table in advance to avoid disappointment. Location: Lange Leidsedwarsstraat 25, 1017 NE Amsterdam, Netherlands River Cruise There are a variety of canal cruises on offer from day cruises to night cruises and even burger cruises! An evening dinner cruise is perfect for a romantic night with your partner or a night with friends. The dinner cruise includes a 4 course meal and both alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages.
